Homemade Lemon Meringue Pie Recipe from scratch. Fresh lemon flavour that isn’t too sweet but just right.  The mile high meringue of course is what makes lemon meringue pie so special.  You cook the lemon pie filling on your stove stop, and pour it into an all butter pie crust.  Sound good so far?   Then while the filling is set aside to cool, get out the chilled egg whites and beat them into stiff, foamy peaks, and toast it lightly in the oven to get that gorgeous toasted effect.  Follow my tips and you will be asked to bring your homemade lemon meringue pie to the next family get together.

French Apple Tart In Puff Pastry | You Can Make Tonight!

This French Apple Tart Recipe is the just about perfect.  Anytime I use puff pastry in a recipe I’m delighted with the result and you will be too.  All you need to do is get the puff pastry out of the freezer and let it thaw (you can easily unthaw overnight in the fridge) and slice and core some apples.  That. Is. It.  Slice your apples very thinly so that they will soften while baking, and have fun creating this design, or make up one of your own!  You don’t even need to peel the apples!

White Chocolate Cheesecake with Cranberries (Instant Pot)

A light and luscious white chocolate cheesecake  that is definitely a showstopper! It’s so easy for you to make in the Instant Pot.  No need to fuss with a Bain Marie (water bath) that regular oven recipes require.  I make all of my cheesecakes in the Instant Pot now.  In keeping with the lightness in flavour, the vanilla Oreo cookies make a perfect crust. This recipe makes a a lovely ‘tall’ cheesecake in the 7″ springform pan, and will serve about 8 people.  You can make the cheesecake a day or two before serving it as well.
